One of my favorite experiences—now a cherished annual tradition—is visiting the pumpkin patch every fall with our kids and close family friends. The kids dive into their own world of play and exploration, laughing and running through rows of pumpkins, their joy contagious.
I never visited a pumpkin patch growing up, so creating this experience now feels extra special—like a piece of childhood gifted in adulthood. It’s not just about pumpkins; it’s about moments shared, memories made, and watching our families grow together season after season.
The one we go to has the sweetest storefront filled with cozy fall décor and homemade goodies. I always leave with a few jars of their jam—some new flavors to try, and always a couple of favorites from last time.
After a few hours soaking in the festive energy, we all head back to our place for a relaxed meal, good laughs, and time to simply be together. These days are the kind that linger—proof that the simplest traditions can shape a lifetime of meaning.
